OK first of all, I swear you said this some time ago and I remember replying to it... although that could have been on philosophy chat... way back then lol.

Secondly, it&#039;s &quot;fizzy drank&quot;...

Thirdly, you&#039;re right in saying that you don&#039;t need Jan 1st to start, but a new date brings new enlightenment. It boils down to an out with the old and in with the new mentality. New date, new year, new start, new ideas, new chances, new options, new opinions... 

Which leads to my forth point, in that we are a creature of habit, and that we fall into routines with &quot;time padding&quot; giving leaway to a task we&#039;re about to do (e.g &quot;i&#039;ll wake up 10 mins early so i can get ready for work properly&quot;)... then it disintegrates when we work out the &quot;optimum&quot; time, not taking into consideration important things... like life.

It&#039;s very easy to say, it&#039;d be ideal to do &quot;this and that over this amout of time&quot;, but there are too many conditions for any kind of outcome. It&#039;s as complex as this post lol.

Finally, what did you use to make the chart?
